The Black Heritage Library Digital Archive is open!
This digital archive contains hundreds of unique items curated by the Black Heritage Library and Multicultural Center, organized into multiple categories. It is our hope that visitors will be inspired, enlightened, and challenged by these materials.
In particular, we invite schools and social studies teachers and students to browse these collections and to locate them alongside the rest of American and World History. For teachers, the Library of Congress has assembled several helpful resources for guiding students through archival research.
Please return often; new items will be added to the archive frequently.
