Juneteenth 2026 Celebration

  • The Black Heritage Library 817 Harmon Street Findlay, OH, 45840 United States (map)

It’s BACK!

Music, vendor booths, food, history and culture presentations and demonstrations. Come on down to the Juneteenth Celebration for 2026!

Founded as the first community celebration to the end of the American Civil War in Galveston, Texas, this event recognizes the day that Union forces mandated the release of the formerly enslaved population. Now, 161 years later, we gather together to recognize the solidarity created when every person in the United States was freed from life-times of servitude. Our participants, performers, vendors, and volunteers will all join together in a spirit of community for this Juneteenth Celebration. Please take an hour or two and join us too!
